Since 2005, the biennial Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing (OCWiC) has inspired and motivated college women to pursue careers in computing and promoted the recruitment, retention, and advancement of technical women in industry and academia.

OCWIC ‘25 welcomed over 200 attendees representing universities and tech companies across Ohio. Students had the opportunity to hear from both Industry and Academic leaders, learn about student research projects and their outcomes, and experience hands-on learning exercises on topics ranging from network administration and programming concepts to working on a team. We also hosted a career expo for students to meet representatives from various companies and graduate schools. OCWiC 2025 was a success, and we look forward to OCWiC 2027!
